Gemma Rose Veronica McCluskie (5 February 1983 1 March 2012) was a British TV actress. Her most famous part was on the BBC soap drama EastEnders in which she was Kerry Skinner.

The trial started on January 14th, 2013 in the Old Bailey. In the course of trial, it was discovered it was revealed that Tony McCluskie was a heavy marijuana user, and that the siblings often disagreed. One day in March the accused allegedly argued with his sister over the overflowing bathtub. She demanded that he go, and he held her in his arms and then slapped her on the ground, but claimed the incident was not a memory of what he did. The cause of her death was multiple blows to the head using an instrument that was blunt. Tony spent hours in dismembering the body of her. CCTV footage shows Tony carrying a bag the next day. The suitcase contained her body that Tony removed from Regent’s Canal. McCluskie originally admitted the manslaughter however, he denied murder, invoking an “loss of control”. McCluskie has been found to be guilty on the 30th January 2013 and sentenced to the rest of his life, with at a minimum, 20 years.

On March 12, 2012, McCluskie was missing from the house she lived located in East London; a few days later, her body was found in the Regent’s Canal. His brother, Tony McCluskie, was indicted for her murder.
