Gary Charles Holle (born August 11 1954, in Watervliet, New York) is an American professional first baseman of the baseball team who was a member of the Texas Rangers of the Major League Baseball (MLB) in 1979.

He was a part of the three teams of minor leagues in the year 1980 including the Oaks and the Phoenix Giants and the Charleston Charlies. He scored a total of .316 including 12 home runs as well as 60 RBI in 112 games. He was a player in 1981 when he was a player with the Edmonton Trappers, hitting .327 with 26 home runs and an 88 RBI. They traded him to Philadelphia Phillies on October 30 of 1981 along together with Dewey Robinson for minor leaguer Jose Castro, however he did not play in the Phillies organization.

Another son of his, Greg Holle, played baseball at the Christian Brothers Academy in the Albany, New York area and was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 35th Round of the Amateur Entry Draft in 2007. However, he opted instead to attend college and currently is a starting pitcher for Texas Christian University.

In June 1979 the player became the first player to MLB debut as a pinch-hitter for Rangers infielder Johnny Grubb. He walked out in his sole at-bat in the game. Even though his defensive position was that of a first baseman, he played in the field for one game of his short major league career. He was mostly utilized as a pinch-hitter. He played in six games in the major leagues, scoring one hit. In June of 1979 the final time he appeared in a major league game. Then, on June 15, he dealt with Ed Farmer to the Chicago White Sox in exchange for Eric Soderholm. He ended the 1979 season as a member of his White Sox Triple-A farm team known as the Iowa Oaks, hitting .273 in 39 games.

He was chosen to the Milwaukee Brewers in the 13th round of the 1976 Major League Baseball draft. In the same year, he started his professional career being a part of two different teams: the Newark Co-Pilots (69 games) and the Berkshire Brewers (four games). He hit a total of .320 and hit 19 homers sixteen doubles and four triples across the 73 games.
