Fx Goby was a student of animation at Supinfocom the pioneer school for Computer animation located in Valenciennes. He was awarded his degree in 2006, with an animated short movie En Tus Brazos, co directed by Edouard Jouret and Matthieu Landour and toured festivals all over the globe and received prizes, including the SIGGRAPH award of excellence in 2007.
Following a stay for three years in Paris over three years,, he relocated to London and joined Nexus Productions. He founded the duo of directing Fx and Mat along with his university buddy Matthieu Landour. They directed a number of music videos and commercials, including the Coca-Cola Super Bowl commercial in the year 2011. The duo broke up in 2012 and he began an independent career. The second short film of his career and the first live action film The Elaborate End of Robert Ebb which he co-directed together with Clement Bolla and Matthieu Landour was awarded the Canal + award at Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in 2012. It was then acquired by the company. He has directed numerous commercials after that, including the short live-action movie Chiante (Pest) which was broadcast by Channel4 and a feature-length document directed by France 3 about Prince Philip : Le Mari de la Reine, L’inconnu de Buckingham and also wrote several illustrations in books.
