Baguion is a former varsity participant for the National University (NU) Bulldogs. While at NU was he was a part of the NU team which reached their very first UAAP Final Four in 2001 (a achievement that will not be repeated until 2012) and also won the victory during their preseason Father Martin Cup in 2003. Following in 2004, Baguion was a part of the UAAP year, Baguion signed for the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Draft.
Baguion was not selected at the time of the 2005 PBA Draft, but was taken off the wireless waivers of the Welcoat Dragons. In November 2007, Baguion was selected by the PBA Press Corps as their player of the week. Baguion was released from the Dragons at the time, known by the name of Rain or Shine Elasto Painters following the 2007-2008 PBA season, when the team was selected for their first appearance in the semifinals of 2008. In December 2015, Baguion was signed by the Mono Vampire Basketball Club in the middle of the 2015–16 ABL season.
