He was a part of the Falcons team in the 2013 Vodacom Cup and made his debut in the first team by playing the Round One losing 0-62 to their opponents the Pumas from Nelspruit. Olivier also took on the role of starting their next game – when they came back to win against their opponents the Golden Lions 27-22 in Kempton Park as well as their Round Three game in the Round Three match against Leopards of the XV team in Potchefstroom where Olivier scoring his first senior try midway through the opening half of 16-47 defeat. Olivier was a substitute for the remaining four matches of the competition , as they finished in seventh place at the bottom of their Northern Section log to miss out on a quarter-final place.

Olivier made four starts for the Falcons in the 2015 Vodacom Cup competition and contributed tries in their matches against the Pumas, Namibian side Welwitschias and the Limpopo Blue Bulls to help the Falcons finish in fifth spot, narrowly missing out on a quarter final spot. He made five appearances for them in the 2015 Currie Cup qualification competition where they again fell short, finishing in third spot on the log despite Olivier tries in their matches against the SWD Eagles and the Griffons. He started their 2015 Currie Cup First Division campaign in fine style, scoring two tries in their 48–27 victory over the Border Bulldogs in the first match of the competition.

He made his Currie Cup debut came in August 2013, and this too took place in Nelspruit during a game against the Pumas in which he appeared as a replacement late in a loss of 1269. He also made a Currie Cup appearance in their match against the Griffons in Welkom however, he was a major part of the season playing Captaining and playing for the Falcons U21s at the 2013 Provincial Championship for Under-21s. He was the captain for all seven matches scoring eight attempts. He scored in six of their games and scored two tries in both the Griquas U21 as well as the Pumas U21s. He finished his season in the position of one of the Falcons U21s’ leading scoring player.

Olivier was the first to earn a provincial team selection by being a part of his Blue Falcons side that played at the Academy Week for Under-18 event in 2010. After graduating from high school Olivier joined the Falcons youth teams and played five times with the Falcons U19 team in the Group B at the 2010 Provincial Under-19 Championship, which helped them get to the semi-finals of the event.

The Falcons finished fourth on the log to qualify for the semi-finals; Olivier was not involved in their 31–24 victory over a Leopards team that finished top of the log or the final, where the Falcons lost 21–23 to the Griffons in Welkom.
