S Club Juniors were formed in 2001 as a result of an actual television show called S Club Search. The auditions aired on the channel for children, CBBC. The idea behind the program was to create the spin-off S Club 7. The show chronicles the auditions and the creation of the group, and features S Club 7 as the judge for the show. The winners of the show will be guaranteed a spot in an off-shoot group. While the group was originally created to perform and assist S Club 7 at Wembley Arena time on the Carnival Tour, S Club Juniors performed on the show was deemed to be a huge success, and 19 Entertainment, the management company behind S Club 7 and auditioned S Club Juniors, decided that they should be the supporting performance at all locations on the tour. Bridge was the one member of the group who sang solo in the choruses of the song. The third single off the album called “New Direction” and it charted again at number two on the charts in the UK.
