University of Pennsylvania (“Penn”) where the doctoral committee comprised Marc Nerlove, Lawrence Klein as well as Peter Pauly. He’s spent the bulk of his professional life at Penn where he’s been a mentor to more than 75 Ph.D. students. He is currently the Paul F. and Warren S. Miller Professor of Social Sciences and Professor of Economics at Penn’s School of Arts and Sciences and also the Professor of Finance and Professor of Statistics at Penn’s Wharton School. He is also an Associate Professor in the National Bureau of Economic Research located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and the author of the No Hesitations blog.
