The rest of the album, however, contained old pieces, plus some Dylan covers.

After a break for a period of time, De Gregori returned with the album Titanic the first portion of which was an album that focused on the well-known incident which saw the sinking Titanic, the famous liner. “San Lorenzo”, the title track “San Lorenzo”, with an unheard piano performance by De Gregori, is about the dramatic incident of bombardment in World War II of the quarter of Rome by Allied aircrafts. The newness of the lyrics and music resulted in a remarkable commercial success as well receiving the acclaim of reviewers.
