Francesca Lombardo (born August 27 1977) is a producer of electronic music as well as DJ born in Castiglione Delle Stiviere in the Lombardy region in northwest Italy. When she was 13 years old, Francesca began attending her first Conservatorium of music in Italy where she was educated and obtained her diploma in vocal technique and piano.

In 2011, Francesca had the pleasure of meeting Damian Lazarus, founder of the Crosstown Rebels label, at the Winter Music Conference in Miami. Damian was the one to sign her on to the label, and her first single was a remix of New York duo Walker & Royce. After leaving behind Jackie Misfit’s Moniker that was Jackie Misfit, Francesca continued to release music under her own name. Changes that was released in 2012 was her first four track EP for Crosstown. Francesca was a frequent contributor for Crosstown Rebels parties and most particularly, she performed on 10 shows on The Crosstown Rebels Rebel Rave world tour in 2013, which commemorated 10 years since the label’s debut.

In the beginning of 2010, Francesca began her own label, Echolette. The Kundi EP from Jackie Misfit was the label’s debut release. Since then, Echolette has charted the releases of Hector Couto, Gregor Tresher and Birds of Mind. Francesca has also launched an echo label with a sister label to Echolette known as Echoe that launched in the year 2016 and has charted albums by herself under her personal name, as also Manuela Gandolfo and INTO YOU.

In 1999, she moved to London and began her professional music career within the Underground Techno scene under the name Jackie Misfit. Francesca started performing at underground parties in London. She was soon a regular at the UK Techno night called Chemical Warfare which was held in what is now called Great Suffolk Street Warehouse. In 2006, she was the resident DJ for Ultraplay events that took place at cafe 1001 located in London. Today, Jackie Misfit is Ultraplay’s longest remaining resident.

Francesca was invited to speak twice at the International Music Summit in Ibiza in 2013. The first panel discussed empowering women in music and how women survive in a predominantly male industry. The second panel was titled “New faces, new thinking” and the dialogue was around how to get noticed as a new producer/DJ. Francesca sat alongside David August, Eats Everything, Hot Since 82, Sam Evitt & Steven Braines. Francesca was invited back to the International Music Summit in 2016 to speak once more on “The New Breed” panel along with Kölsch, Dany Daze and Danny Howard. Francesca also performed at the closing party of the event which was held at the Dalt Villa Battlements.
