Alexe is currently a member of the Parliament, and president of the PNL’s Sector 3 chapter and also the president of the National Liberal Youth, the youth organization that is part of PNL, the National Liberal Party (PNL). He was a City Councillor first in the Bucharest Local Council’s Sector 3 before he was elected to Bucharest’s General Council of Bucharest.
In his political career, he was a City Councillor two times in succession years. From 2004 to 2008 He was a member of Bucharest’s Sector 3 Local Council in Bucharest’s Sector 3. Between 2008 and 2012, the member was on the General Council of the City of Bucharest. As of December 12, he was been elected an MP and is a member of the Chamber of Deputies the uninominal college no.10 in Bucharest. He is Director of the Commission for Culture, Arts and Mass Media in the Chamber of Deputies.
In 2002 in 2002, he graduated from Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies and studied Markets within the Faculty of Commerce. From 2002 to 2003, he attended graduate classes at the same university in 2008 and 2010; he attended courses in International Relations as well as European Integration at the Romanian Diplomatic Institute. Since 2010, he’s currently a PhD student in the Academy of Economic Studie, Bucharest and is writing his thesis on the branding of Bucharest.

His political career began in 2000 at which point he joined National Liberal Party, becoming part of the chapter that was in Sector 3. Then, in 2003, he was appointed the president of the Youth Organisation of that chapter and held that position until the year 2005. In 2006 He was appointed to the post as the PNL Coordinator for Liberal Parties from the Republic of Moldova. In 2009 following the Congress of the TNL (the National Liberal Youth, the youth organization that is part of PNL, the National Liberal Party), the President was elected. In the in the same year, he was been elected as the President of the Sector 3 chapter of PNL. Since 2010, he’s been an active member of the Political Bureau of PNL, the primary organ of the party’s governing body. He was re-elected the President of TNL in May of 2011 and again in May 2013.
Since 2002, he’s been responsible for the marketing efforts of various companies like Radio Contact, Kiss FM, Radio Contact, Kiss FM or Centrul National Media – National FM. He is the Marketing Director for Centrul National Media.
