Travis Gordon Lopes Jr. (born 12 December 1991) is an American professional wrestler who is currently contracted to Ring of Honor (ROH) under the Ring nickname Flip Gordon. He began his career by training with Brian Fury and the New England Pro Wrestling Academy, making his debut against Biff Busick on May 6 on the 6th of May, 2015. He then won his first title at A Night Of Grand Slams on September 9, 2016 in a Six-Way Scramble contest to earn an CW New England Championship. Prior to that, he was a member of the Army National Guard for 6 years as a battle engineer, with the specialization of explosives training. after which he was enlisted. Lopes was discharged with honor on May 1st, 2018.
Gordon signed an agreement to join Ring of Honor a month after his first appearance in the promotion, which Gordon lost to Matt Sydal on April 8 2017, in Baltimore the city of Baltimore, MD. On the 15th of December, 2017 at the ROH’s Final Battle Gordon teamed with Dragon Lee and Titan against Titan, The Young Bucks and Hangman Page to compete for an opportunity to win the ROH 6 Man World Tag Championships but were unsuccessful. On the 20th of July in 2018, at the ROH’s Honor for All event, Nick Aldis defeated Gordon by submission to win his NWA World Heavyweight Championship. Following the fight, Cody Rhodes helped Gordon to stand up and began his opponent to make him eligible to compete in The All In event before Bully Ray attacked Gordon with a low punch. On September 1, 2018, Gordon won the All In Over the Budget Battle Royal to have the chance to face Jay Lethal for the ROH World Championship on the next evening, which he won but failed. The Sea At Honor Tournament, Gordon defeated Jay Briscoe in the finals and won the tournament. This gave him the chance to compete for a future ROH World Championship shot. In the ROH’s Honor Reings Supreme Gordon was playing to Tracy Williams and early in the match, Gordon hurt his knee and ended the match prematurely.
In February 2018, Gordon wrestled for the Ring of Honor’s and New Japan Pro- Wrestling’s cross-promotional event, Honor Rising, where he would win a three- way match against Hiromu Takahashi & Kushida on Night One. He would lose a tag team match on Night Two, teaming with Ryusuke Taguchi against Los Ingobernables de Japon (Bushi & Hiromu Takahashi). In May 2018, Gordon was announced as one of the 16 participants in New Japan’s annual Best of the Super Juniors tournament. He finished the tournament with 3 wins and 4 losses, failing to advance to the finals. After competing at the jointly promoted G1 Supercard, Gordon was announced as returning to the Best of the Super Juniors tournament. He would ultimately be unable to compete in the tournament due to visa issues.
In June 2019, at Best in the World, Gordon was revealed as the fourth member of Villain Enterprises by leader Marty Scurll after Villain Enterprises retained their ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship against Lifeblood. Gordon, alongside Scurll and fellow members Brody King and PCO, would attack Lifeblood, turning Gordon heel for the first time in his ROH career.
On the 16th of September in 2017, Gordon began his career in the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre and teamed up together with Volador Jr. and Caristico to beat Kojima, Mephisto and Ultimo Guerrero in the CMLL The 84th Anniversary Show. He also participated in several shows during the week including Puebla shows, and the Friday, Tuesday and Saturday Arena Mexico shows. Gordon returned to the CMLL’s Gran Prix Internacional – Torneo Cibernetico in which his team won.
