Fidelia Njeze is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on June 8, 1964 in Enugu, Enugu State, Nigeria. She was born the 8th of June 1964 , in Enugu State. She completed the high-school education she needed in Girls High School Awkunanaw Enugu and then earned an BSc in Pharmacy at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Following her internship, which was which was followed by National Youth Service in the National Orthopedics Hospital in Enugu from 1990 until 1991 she was appointed a pharmacist at Chinors pharmacies in the year 1992. She was the Managing Director at Gredel Pharmacy from 1996 to 2007.

Njeze became Minister of State in Defence at the end of July 2007, following being appointed by Late President Umaru Yar’Adua. Then she was subjected to thorough screening conducted through the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, after which, on 17 December 2008 she was named the Minister of State in charge of Agriculture as well as Water Resources after a major change in the cabinet by the late President Umaru Yar’Adua. She was named the Minister for Aviation on the 6th of April, 2010 by acting President Goodluck Jonathan following his inauguration into his post. On March 5, 2011, at the 23rd convocation ceremony at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) the university conferred an Honorary Doctorate diploma to Dr. Fidelia Akuabata Njeze conferring on her Doctor of Management Technology.

The enormous experience which she has gathered over the years in public service has made her a great and valuable asset to the country and her home state. This experience which must be tapped, has earned her a membership in the 15-man Economic Advisory Committee (EAC) setup by the state Governor on June 21, 2015. The committee was set up to promote balanced and sustainable economic growth, think of new ideas on state economic issues, promote investments and advice government on how to make Enugu state more business friendly and economically viable, in a quest to improve the living standards of its citizens.

She is also honoured by various professional organizations, most that are related to pharmaceuticals. these awards were given to her since she’s considered by many to be an exceptional ambassador for the profession. Some of her many professional accolades include: The Ambassador of Pharmacy Award from the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (National) in 2007; Pharmaceutical Excellence in 2007 and National Service Award by Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria in March 2009, Fellowship Award given by the West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists (WAPCP) Ghana in March 2009 professional Service Award by UNN Alumni Association Abuja branch in the year 2010 and Distinguished Alumnus from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences UNN in April of 2012.

Njeze was then appointed Nigerian Ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein on the June 12, 2012. On September 4, 2012 Ambassador Fidelia Akuabata Njeze proceeded to present her Letters of Credence to the President of the Swiss Confederation Eveline Widmer-Schlumpf, she also presented her Letters of Credence for accreditation to Liechtenstein on December 14, 2012.
