The HH Prince Faisal Al Shalan (Arabic: l’myr fySl Lshln ; born on 5 January 1987, in Riyadh) is an Saudi Arabian equestrian rider. He has won numerous medals in show jumping which included medals for gold in the nation’s team at 2011, the Pan Arab Games in Doha, Qatar. He also took home the silver medal on team- jumping in the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea.

In 2011, the Pan Arab Games in Doha, Qatar, Al Shalan was awarded the gold medal for his outstanding show in the team event alongside his teammates Bahamdan, Al Eid, and Al Saud. He also took home bronze in the show jumping individual competition, along with the 11 year old mare Aphrodite van the het Rexelhof.

In May of 2011 in May 2011, he was awarded a degree from his school, the University of Miami in the United States of America, with the degree of bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), with a major in Mathematical Economics. He also holds an Master of Science in Economic and Strategies at Imperial College London in the United Kingdom. He is a CAIA chart holder, a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, and an CISI member . In 2004 Al Shalan made his official debut on the international stage and made it to his final in the King Abdulaziz Cup and Saudi Arabian Equestrian Championships. The young horseman made his debut by winning gold medals for individual athletes in the 2005 Islamic Games, and finishing second in the 2006 World Cup Arab League. Al Shalan also became the youngest athlete to ever compete during the 2006 FEI World Equestrian Games in Aachen, Germany, riding on the Uthago for the team and individual events.

Al Shalan eventually competed on his second horse Wido as an athlete of the Saudi Arabian equestrian team, during the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. He was eliminated in the second round of the qualifying rounds for the individual event after he smashed through eight fences while incurred three time penalties. This put him in the lowest twenty spots of a tough field. A few hours later, Al Shalan helped his teammates Al Duhami, Kamal Bahamdan and His Royal His Royal Prince Abdullah Al Saud to an eleventh place finish during the group event.
