Fahda bint Saud Al Saud is one of the most popular and richest Artist who was born on January 15, 1953 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Princess Fahda is born on 1953. She is the daughter of the King Saud. Princess Jamila of Assad Ibrahim Al Mirhi from Latakia, Syria. Princess Fahda attended primary school in her school, the Karimat high school in Riyadh from 1964 to 1964. In 1969 she was graduated from Beirut Evangelical School for girls (BESG) situated in Beirut. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science at Beirut College for Women (now the Lebanese American University) in 1974. Then she earned a master’s in political science in Beirut from American University of Beirut in 1976. Then she attended Beirut’s School of Oriental and African Studies for a year. In the school, she took part in non-degree course of research within departments of politics and science. After that, she moved to Paris to pursue a degree in art. She was also trained by the late Iraqi painter Issam Al Said on Islamic geometric patterns .

Princess Fahda took part in a few exhibitions with a feminist theme through her watercolors. One of these exhibitions was arranged through the Royal Society of Fine Arts in Jordan as well as The Pan-Mediterranean Women Artists Network of Greece to break down the stereotypes that women are subject to in and across the Islamic world. The first show was held in Australia under the direction by the Interfaith Centre of Melbourne between January 25 and 23 March 2008. The watercolours of Princess Fahda in the exhibit titled Three Women is a visual illustration of the Japanese Golden Rule “See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil” which is a staple of the Islamic world. She also organized exhibits that were primarily focused on the memory of her father. Furthermore the Princess Fahda was a patron of exhibitions by other artists from Saudi Arabia, for instance the work was that of Farha Sayeed, an Indian artist who is primarily focused on the decorating eggs with decorations.

Her piece was titled “Saudi women’s concerns” was published in Al Hayat. In that article, Princess Fahda was clear in her statement that the discussion regarding women’s rights in Saudi society is “pivotal to the nation’s renaissance.” But, she’s considered to be a traditionalist but she is not a reactionary. She is in favor of reforms for women, however, she is heavily dependent on the nation’s values and beliefs, which include religious ones.
