Fabio Tordiglione (born 9 October 1973) is professionally known as Fabio Lione is an Italian musician and lyricist who has collaborated with many metal bands. He was the vocalist of the Italian power metal group Rhapsody of Fire, for 21 seasons. He later started his own group Turilli and Lione Rhapsody together with the former Rhapsody of Fire guitarist Luca Turilli. He is currently the vocalist in the band Angra as well as the first singer in Labyrinth as well as Vision Divine.
His musical endeavors continued with a group of youngsters from Pisa that was called Athena. Athena was an innovative rock band with their own distinct style and challenged different expressions. Lione made a debut demo tape along with Athena as his very first time in a band. Lione performed in twenty shows with the group, but in the space of two years, he walked away from the group in 1994. Lione’s first Eurobeat song Eye of the Tiger was released in Japan in 2000. His name for Eurobeat project was “J. Storm”, deriving from Joey Tempest. He published thirteen Eurobeat songs (list below) under this name between 2000 and 2005 and has declared that he wouldn’t be making anymore Eurobeat in the future. However, by the end of 2013 a new song was released called “Dancing into fire”. One of his songs, “Dancing in My Dreams”, was also used in Initial D Battle Stage.
Lione was the first to meet the group Labyrinth before forming the band under the name “Vision”. Soon after, in 1993, the group began working on a demotape titled Midnight Resistance , lyrics and vocal lines composed by Lione. Prior to the time that release of the album No Limits was released, Lione recorded a mini-CD that included Labyrinth and (Piece of Time] lyrics and vocal lines composed by Fabio Lione.

Lione is a native of Pisa. His career began in the year 1990, aged 17 when he began singing in a underground rock group who performed classics from the 1960s and 1950s, similar to Elvis Presley’s hits. He was fascinated by groups like Queensryche, Fates Warning, and Crimson Glory, which inspired him to start the heavy-metal band of his own. group.
The band was formed by Athena in 1991, and in 1992, the band recorded their debut demotape.
