Psarra defeated her 163-161. Psarra was then able to defeat the Almudena Gallardo, ranked 24th in Spain 160-152 to advance into the quarterfinals in which she would face Park Sung-hyun of Korea. An ineffective shot on her first arrow caused her to lose to Park Sung- hyun of the South Korean, though Psarra stated that she was not dissatisfied with the outcome. A final score of 112-101 for the match with 12 arrows put Psarra 7th in the overall rankings for women’s archery individual. Psarra was also a part of the 5th-placed Greek team for the women’s team archery contest.

In Beijing 2008. Summer Olympics at Beijing, Psarra finished her ranking round with 613 points. She was awarded the 50th spot in the final competition bracket , in which she was to take on Chen Ling in the first round. Chen Ling, the local Chinese archer of her choice defeated Chen Ling with a score of 110-101 and was eliminated Psarra immediately.
