Eva Jones Young (born July 14th 1964) more commonly referred to as Eva Jones, is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1996 and 2009. She was the holder of her WIBF as well as the IWBF bantamweight title in 1998 as well as the IFBA bantamweight title in 1999.
On March 24 1998, she defended the WIBF world title for Bantamweight with the fourth round beating of Cheryll Robinson. Following her win in a title-less match that she and Draine faced off again on the 12th of November 1998, in Kansas City, Missouri, and Jones was able to avenge her loss by giving Draine an eight-round loss in a second non-title match.
On July 23, she beat Jamilia Lawrence by decision in a non-title fight, but on February 5, 2000, she lost to Michele Aboro by a tenth-round knockout in Germany for the WIBF’s vacant world Super Bantamweight fight, in what has been her last fight.
In her fifth fighton on August 14 1997, she was afflicted with her first loss in professional boxing by boxing Para Draine at Worley, Idaho and lost the fight in a four-round, unanimous decision. She bounced back from that defeat with a knockout in the first round and also won her first knockout victory of her career against top prospect Kim Jeffryes, on September 9.

On the 9th of November in 1997, Jones started her career as a professional boxer after defeating Deirdre Rodriguez in an eight-round split decision at Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In March of 1997, she defeated Anissa Zamarron in an all- round unanimous decision, in Houston, Texas.
Jones was victorious in three more fights she won three more, which included Delia Gonzalez on the 24th of October 1997, a fighter Jones beat at Tula, Mississippi by a unanimous decision of six rounds. On January 10, 1998 , she was up against IBA world champion Theresa Arnold for the vacant IWBF world title for the Bantamweight division. Jones became world champion and simultaneously being the only person to beat Arnold in a professional bout by knocking her out in the seventh round of a victory on the card in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
To defend her WIBF title, Jones travelled to Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, where she lost the title to Margaret Sidoroff, by a ten-round split decision, on February 26, 1999.
