Ukpong Esther Sunday (born 13 March 1992) is a Nigerian footballer who is a player in the club Konak Belediyespor in the Turkish Women’s First Football League wearing the number 30 on her jersey. Sunday was previously a player at a club level with Sunshine Queens and Pelican Stars in the Nigerian Women’s Championship, as and FC Minsk in the Belarusian Premier League. She also played at internationally level in Nigeria’s Nigeria women’s national team at several international tournaments.
In July of 2018, Sunday signed a one-year contract with Istanbul-based club Atasehir Belediyespor before the 2017-18 league champion’s participation in the 2018-19 UEFA Women’s Champions League qualifying round. She was a part of three of the matches in the qualifying round, and scored a goal. For the 2019-20 First League season, she was back with her former team Konak Belediyespor.
In January of 2016 she relocated to Turkey to join Trabzon Idmanocagi. She was a participant at the Turkish Cosmetics 2016 Tournament of the top four teams of the league. She scored a goal on her way to a win with the new club.

Sunday has played for her country’s Nigeria women’s national soccer team at the junior level, and was included in the squads for 2010, the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup (competition runners-up) and the 2012 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup. In the senior league, she was included in the squads of the African Women’s Championship tournaments in 2010and 2012 and twice won it in the years 2010 and 2014.
