She graduated in 2002 at Jivan Bharati High School in Surat. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2005, from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University.
Gujarat Sahitya Akademi conferred the Yuva Gaurav Award in 2013 in recognition of her contribution to Gujarati literature. The book she wrote Janmaro (2013) was awarded the Best Book Prize for poetry established through Gujarat Sahitya Akademi. She was also awarded the Ravji Patel Award established through Gujarat Samachar and Samanvay; Kavi Gani Dahiwala prize (2000) and Best Poet Award from Coffee-mates, Mumbai; Best poet award (2005) from Kala Gurjari Sanstha, Mumbai and the Most Outstanding Poets in the city of Surat Award (2009) from Rashtriya Kala Kendra, Surat. The year 2018 was the first time she was awarded Yuva Puraskar for her book Janmaro.
Esha has written the first of her poems,”Death Certificate”, that has been published by Kavita the Gujarati poetry journal while she was at school. At present, she works alongside Divya Bhaskar as a deputy news editor for City Bhaskar since 2012. She has previously worked as a newsreader journalist, reporter and sub-editor at various media, like Gujarat Mitra, MY TV (A local news channel from Surat), Dhabakar (A local newspaper from Surat), Sandesh, MY FM and Gujarat Guardian. Short stories of hers are published in a variety of Gujarati magazines like Chitralekha.
