Errol Clince is one of the most popular and richest Engineer who was born on February 16, 1953 in Eltham, New Zealand. Clince is well-known for his excavation of an RNZAF Airspeed Oxford twin engine bomber-training aircraft’s wreckage located on the mountain slopes Mt Taranaki. The plane, named Oxford I, NZ277/P2030 with Pilot Officer Rodney Dandy and crew Sgt Douglas Martyn, Sgt Graham Martin and Sgt Edward Dodson, departed Bell Block Airfield, New Plymouth on October 23, 1942, on the basis of a training mission. It is believed that because of the heavy clouds, the crew made mistakes in navigation that led to the crash at 4,500 feet. No crew members survived. There was no survivors.
