Elmer Dessens Jusaino [deh-SENZ] (born 13 January 1971) is a Mexican former professional baseball player playing in Major League Baseball (MLB).
Dessens was accepted in the amateur market by Pittsburgh Pirates in 1993. He made his debut in the major leagues as a member of Pittsburgh Pirates in 1996. He played with them until 1998.
During the 2002–03 offseason, Dessens was involved in a four-team trade that sent him to the Arizona Diamondbacks.
