Dordi Agate Nordby (born 8 April 1964 in Baerum) is a former Norwegian athlete from Snaroya. Nordby has won an array of gold medals at major international events over a span lasting three decades. Making her international debut for Norway in the year 1981, Nordby played for her country in the curling competition at the Calgary Winter Olympics in which the Norwegian team was awarded a ‘bronze medal’, that was of course not an official title. Her first medal came from the international championships held in the year 1989, and was 3rd as part of the Norway team that came in as runners-up. As the skip for the Norwegian team between the years 1990 and 1991, Dordi reached the pinnacle of her career when she led Norway to two gold medals.
