Donald C. Fry is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on June 23, 1955 in Killeen, United States. Donald Fry (born June 23 1955) is a former Member of both the Maryland House of Delegates and the Maryland State Senate.

Prior to his appointment as senator for the state of Maryland, Fry was a member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 35A. This district only included Harford County. Fry was elected to the House in 1990 along with Republican Jim Harkins. Both were elected to succeed the incumbent Democrat Joseph Lutz, who was defeated in the general elections, and a former Republican William A. Clark whom was defeated in the primary in the primary by Fry during Fry’s Democratic primary.

On November 12, 1997, Governor Parris Glendening appointed Donald Fry to replace Democrat William H. Amoss, who died on October 8, 1997. In the succeeding election during 1998, Fry was defeated by Republican challenger J. Robert Hooper, who garnered 55% of the vote.

Fry was a member of the Maryland Senate from 1997–99, representing District 35, which covers Harford and Cecil Counties. He was defeated in 1998 by Republican J. Robert Hooper.

Alongside his legal and political activities, Fry was a member of the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross, Northeastern District from 1984 until

1989. He was chairman from 1986 to 1989. Additionally, he served as the president of the Bel Air Jaycees in 1983. The year 1988 was the time that Donald Fry was named as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Marylanders by Maryland Jaycees. [3]
