Dmitry Valent is one of the most popular and richest Taekwondo Athlete who was born on April 3, 1988 in Minsk, Belarus. Dmitry “Black Valet” Valent (born 13 April 1988 , in Minsk, Belarus) is a Belarusian Muay Thai middleweight/super middleweight kickboxer from Minsk, Belarus for Gym “Kick Fighter”. Valent is an ten-time professional and amateur professional world champion well-known for his deadly elbows and powerful KO power (hence the nickname he has, TNT). He has also been a champion at the junior and European levels. Dmitry is among Belarus’s best fighters.
In 2010, Dmitry continued to win, and remained the W.K.N. Middleweight champion of the organization in Thai-boxing, beating the talented Yohan Lidon at the beginning of 2010 and also beating Holland-based Moroccan Tarek Slimani. The result was to win the W.I.P.U. “King of the Ring” world title. He’s had some setbacks too in defeating his nemesis Artem Levin during the I.F.M.A. European Championships, and conceding an upset loss in the legendary Aussie John Wayne Parr in an unsuccessful attempt to lower his weight to fight to win the W.K.N. super welterweight world title. He also took home more gold medals in amateur competitions and won the 75 kg class at the W.A.K.O. European as well as the I.F.M.A. world championships are held in the same year.
He fought at Diamond Fight: Friendship in Chelyabinsk, Russia on December 13, 2013, defeating Bektas Emirhanoglu by third-round TKO.
In a close fight, Valent lost to Simon Marcus by split decision at C3: King of Fighters in Chengdu, China on April 27, 2013.
Dmitry started 2008 off by taking home the W.K.N. European Grand Prix title, which was a four-man event fought according to Muay Thai regulations at Geneva, Switzerland. Then, he was able to follow in the footsteps of his Kulebin, his stablemate Kulebin in winning the W.M.C. I-1 title – this one was the Grand Slam 72 kg version at Hong Kong. There was a bit of disappointment at the close of the year the disappointment came when Dmitry was eliminated from the qualifier for Season 2 for “The Contender Asia” held in Russia by the multiple World Champion Artem Levin during the semi-final stage. The reality was that Contender Asia Season 2 show was never to be shown could have softened the blow. Dmitry achieved success on the amateur circuit , as well by winning the gold medal in the I.M.F.A. European championships held in Zgorzelec, Poland.

Dmitry began his Taekwondo training at the age of 13 and starting Muay Thai aged 16. In the prestigious “Kick Fighter Gym” in the town he grew up in, Minsk the young athlete developed his dazzling abilities by working alongside world champions like Andrei Kulebin and Dmitry Shakuta. He was a fast learner, and he won an award of gold in the 67-kg junior section at the W.M.F. World Muaythai Championships in Bangkok, Thailand, aged 17. Dmitry was able to have a great 2007 and won an award of gold in the W.A.K.O. World Championships 2007 and then following it up with the first title he had ever won professionally, taking home the World Kickboxing Network (W.K.N.) middleweight world title, held in Kostroma, Russia before rounding the year off in style with an official W.A.K.O. world title to his collection.
The young Belarusian returned to his W.M.C. I-1 title in the year following and defeated South African Vuyisile Colossa by split decision in the final. He followed up his win by winning the 2007 W.K.A. World champion Shane Campbell for the second time, securing this title. Muay Thai version of the middleweight W.K.N. title. He carried on his winning streak in the professional circuit and onto the amateur circuit, claiming another amateur world championship with a gold medal in the I.F.M.A. event in Bangkok, Thailand.
