Dmitry Viktorovich Trapeznikov (born 12 April 1981, Russian: Dmitrii Viktorovich Trapeznikov) was the former acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic from 31 August 2018 to 7 September 2018.
Prior to the conflict during the war in Donbass, Trapeznikov was the director of the Ukoopzovnishtorg Trading House. Prior to that, he worked as the deputy head of the Petrovskoy District Council of Donetsk city. He also managed the Shakhtar Donetsk football team (belonging to Rinat Akhmetov) in 2001 when he was taking classes at Donetsk State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture.
