Dirk Heidemann (born 18 April 1961 in Berlin) is a former professional ballroom model, dancer and fashion model currently a writer, dance sport instructor and choreographer , all from Germany. He has a long period of experience in diverse dance fields.

The World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) asked Heidemann on March 13, 2013 to develop dance choreography and choreography of a Flash Mob at the World Dance Sport Games 2013 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. He picked the track “Stamp Your Feet” of the late singer Donna Summer. In April of 2013 the video from Sant Cugat, Spain was made in Sant Cugat, Spain. The video was shot with Heidemann watching the dancing. The flash mob was shown during the opening ceremony and was a huge success. The final show featured about 6,500 participants “Stamp Your Feet” danced in front of live television cameras. “Stamp your Feet” is today regarded as one of the biggest flash mobs anywhere in the world.

In addition, the Israeli couple Artyom Liaskovsky and Liana Odikadze, also coached by him, became world champion in Latin dances in the “Under-21” category. It is the first ever world title for Israel in dance sports.

Between 2006 to between 2006 and Heidemann was choreographer for the two German cast shows (You Can Dance in the evening on Sat.1, German Idol (Deutschland known as the Superstar) on RTL).
