Gulyayev Dmitry Igorevich (born on 22nd January in 1986) is better known under the stage name Dimal (pronounced dIml) (Russian: Dimal), is a half-Ukrainian, half-Russian musician, entertainer, and rapper who is based in Malta. The musician is the creator of and (CEO) of Russian Muziq Mafia Records in Ukraine.

In January 2013, Dimal has been nominated to The International Portuguese Music Awards in two categories: Best Dance song in addition to the People’s Choice Award. The event will be held on February 2nd in 2013, at Zeiterion Theatre in New Bedford.

In in the Summer of 2012 Dimal joined forces together with Maltese musician and singer Lyndsay Pace for the release of their hit song “Let’s Make It Happen” that combines Dimal’s rapping talents with Lyndsay’s smooth vocals. The track was a hit on both international and local radio charts like the Malta’s Top 10 Charts, PRS Top 40 Charts, Urban Top 20 Charts among others. The majority of local DJs took notice of the track and included it in their playlists. This resulted in an appearance at the Bay Music Awards, where Dimal was nominated for “Best Newcomer”. The song was also nominated to win one of the awards for “Top SIngle” in the MMI Listeners Picks Poll which is managed through Toni Sant.
