in 2014, Seriestha has been selected to represent Malaysia at the World Championships of Performing Arts. She was awarded her gold award in the category of classical opera. She also won and three silver medals in the contemporary world music, variety and category (vocal) and an award that was specifically awarded under the Industry Award and a medal for champion in classical of WCOPA. She was named by the title Miss World Malaysia 2014 at Corus Hotel, Kuala Lumpur and also represented Malaysia at Miss World 2014 in London. Dewi Liana is a native of Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. The parents of her are Indonesian singer and musician Yudhi Seriestha, as well as Malaysian Bidayuh performer Catherine Noep Sigit. She is the fourth among four children. She was the winner of a national singing competitioncalled Bintang Kecil RTM in 2000. Then, in 2005 she relocated from Kuala Lumpur with her parents to pursue a career. Seriestha completed her studies at the National Academy of Arts, Culture and Heritage (ASWARA) in November of 2015.
The year 2005 was the time that Seriestha was the first national TV star to make her debut with the singing competition Mentor which shown on TV3. At just 16, she was the youngest participant of the competition. Seriestha was also a part-time actor. Between 2009 and 2010, she was a part-time actress in Malay dramas, Kembali, Nilai Cinta Diana and Patung Cinta for Radio Televisyen Malaysia.
