DeVon Michael Hardin (born August 7 1987) was an American former professional basketball player. 6 feet 11 inches (2.11 m) with 235 pounds (107 pounds; 16.8 st) forward-center, Hardin was selected in the 2008 NBA draft as the 50th overall selection from the Seattle SuperSonics.
The draft rights of Hardin, as well as Chris Wilcox and Joe Smith were sold with the New Orleans Hornets for Tyson Chandler on February 17th in 2009. The deal was later canceled following the fact that Chandler did not pass his physical test in the Thunder.
For the 2011 season he began with Minsk 2006 in Belarus, then he signed with Marinos in Puerto la Cruz Venezuela.
On October 20, 2014 he was signed by Brazilian club Paulistano.
Hardin was chosen 50th overall in the 2007 NBA draft , by the Seattle SuperSonics, but suffered a stress fracture to his left tibia, and was not able to participate in the training camp. He joined the team in January 2009. signed with Greek first division team Egaleo AO, as a replacement for Andrae Patterson. Hardin was recently removed to Turkish side Mersin BB, after failing to fully recover from the strain fracture.
