NBA Draft, Stephens signed with the Hamamatsu Higashimikawa Phoenix of the Japanese BJ league. In 27 games played for Hamamatsu the team, Stephens averaged 9.1 points as well as 5.9 rebound. On February 5 of 2014 Stephens got released from the Phoenix. A few days later Stephens signed with Akita Northern Happinets.
