Delphine Ernotte (born 28 July 1966) is an French media and telecommunications executive. Ernotte is president for France Televisions, and a former executive of Orange S.A.
Ernotte began working for France Telecom (later known as Orange S.A.) in 1989. There she was an analyst in finance until 1993. She was an economist at the management levels from 1993 until 1999. She was head of Paris stores between 1999 and 2000 and was the director for La Societe de diffusion de radiotelephonie (SDR) the subsidiary, from 2000 until 2004. She was in charge the Orange Centre-Val de Loire office from 2004 to 2006. From 2006 until 2008, she was the director of communications, in which she implemented strategies for rebranding (from France Telecom to Orange). She was the commercial director for Orange France from 2008 to 2009, as well as being the director of Orange Distribution, a subsidiary from 2009 until 2010. The executive board of Orange in 2010 and was the chief executive officer in the company of Orange France from 2011 to 2015. While she was in charge, about 12 employees committed suicide because of the stressful workplace culture. Her criticism was received by the French Confederation of Management – General Confederation of Executives for it.
Ernotte has served as the CEO of France Télévisions since 2015, succeeding Rémy Pflimlin. Her appointment was criticized by some members of the Conseil supérieur de l’audiovisuel (CSA). She is the first woman to serve as its CEO.
