Davor Kus (born July 21 1978) is Davor Kus (born on July 21, 1978) is a Croatian ex-professional basketball player. His primary job was a point guard, however, he also plays as a shooting guard.

The 2007-08 football season Kus relocated his home in Malaga, Spain, as he was signed by the highly successful Spanish League club, Unicaja Malaga. In the course of only 1 season with Spain, Kus moved back to Cibona for the third time and this time, on an one-year loan. Kus was extremely unhappy with his position at Cibona. He was unhappy with his status at the Spanish club, and even attempted to get the termination of his contract, however Malaga was not willing to grant him the right to do so thus his loan at Cibona is a short remedy to his discontent.

In October 2010 he signed a one-year contract with Baloncesto Fuenlabrada in Spain.

After two seasons spent abroad, Kus returned to Croatia signing with Cibona Zagreb. In June 2015, he announced his retirement, but then in September 2015 signed for Škrljevo.

Kus made his debut for his senior Croatian national basketball team in 2007. Kus was a member of the Croatian 2007 FIBA European Championship squad which was ranked 6th. He also was a member of Croatia’s Croatian Summer Olympics 2008 team which placed in 6th position as well.

Kus began his professional career in his hometown of Kvarner, where he played for Kvarner at the beginning of 1996 through the conclusion in the season 1999/2000. Kus led the 1998-99 campaign in the Croatian League in assists at 4.4 per game. In addition, Kus made no larger impression than Kvarner on Kvarner’s Croatian League.

At the beginning of the 2000-01 season Kus was transferred to Croatian champions Cibona Zagreb, winning with Cibona Zagreb both the Croatian League as well as the Croatian Cup during his first season. In the following three years, Kus was a part of three consecutive Croatian League titles and one Croatian Cup title. The move towards The Greek League club AEK Athens, Kus started with his international career, which hasn’t resulted in much success. After only one season, he returned to Croatia and signed as a player with Cibona again. He helped Cibona to two more successive Croatian League titles before his contract was terminated mutually and he was scheduled to move to another country.

In 2009, he signed with the Italian League club Benetton Treviso.
