Semerad (born 25th April 1991) is an Australian-born professional basketball player with the TNT KaTropa of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Semerad is also a model and a TV host. He is the teammate of his twin brother Anthony who was the teammate of his during the time of San Beda.

David and his twin brother Anthony are currently being run through Arnold Vegafria’s ALV Talent Circuit. They’ve since dabbled in hosting. The most recent one was Lucy Torres in TV5’s weekly dance show Celebrity Dance Battle in 2014.

On December 18, 2018 Semerad was traded, along with Brian Heruela and 2020 1st round pick to TNT Katropa in exchange for Terrence Romeo.

In the last quarter of 2011, both of them quit the team because of an argument with the coaching team, and decided to join their own team, the Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles in the UAAP. Even though they had to miss two seasons before they were eligible for the team, the twins were training in members of the Blue Eagles, and participated in off-season competitions like The Father Martin’s Summer Cup as part of Ateneo’s Team B. After missing one season and deciding to return home the same way to San Beda, and sent an apology letter to Rev. Fr. Rector-President Aloysius Maranan for the San Beda Community. After their return to their ranks, they took home back-to-back championships in NCAA seasons 89 and 1990.
