David Palfreyman (born 26 September 1966) is a British musician, songwriter and actor, as well as a poet.

Beginning as trombone player in his teenagers, Palfreyman performed at the Royal Albert Hall and other venues across the UK as part of the William Rhodes School Band and Rhodian Brass. This led to his first studio recording his trombone for the 1980 album The Sound Of Rhodian Brass. After switching from the trombone to the guitar in the mid-1990s, Palfreyman performed and sang in a variety of groups throughout the late 1980s and the early 1990s before forming his first band, The Custard Garage, in 1995. He then went solo and made his debut Malf EP in the year 2008. Palfreyman has played numerous shows in his native UK, America and Europe. He also appeared alongside Jessica Lee Morgan on the Vintage TV (TV channel) show The Vintage TV Sessions, performing music from the Decades album.
