The season of 2011/2012 was a time when Nedohin and Ferbey attempt to replicate their previous success by adding Ted Appelman and Brendan Melnyk to the team. After a prosperous World Curling Tour season in which they were able to qualify for every event they took part in, with the exception of in the Grand Slams the team did not get into this year’s Northern Alberta Regionals. They were eliminated from their Edmonton Zone to Kevin Park. The result led to the team split up, after Ferbey quit competition. Nedohin was to announce his 2012/2013 campaign would have him play alongside Colin Hodgson, Tom Sallows and Mike Westlund. There were numerous comparisons drawn between the newly- formed team and the beginning of “The Ferbey Four’ based on years of experience and age. Nedohin was a part of his place on the Randy Ferbey rink in 1997 and was part of the squad’s 4 Brier championships as well as three championships at the world level. Nedohin is well-known for his shotmaking abilities – particularly when it comes to difficult takeout shots in combination. Nedohin shot a percent of 96% in his final match of Nokia Brier in 2003.
