In his only appearance in the PGA Tour, Lingmerth finished as a joint runner- up in the Humana Challenge after losing in the three-man tournament. He scored a 10-under-par score that was 62 during the last round in order to get into the playoff along with Brian Gay and Charles Howell III. Lingmerth earned his first PGA Tour win at the 2015 Memorial Tournament. At the 2015 Quicken Loans National, Lingmerth finished solo third with a final round 69, four shots behind the winner, Troy Merritt.
