Dasmond Koh (Chinese: Xu Zhen Rong born 22nd February, 1972) is a Singaporean actor, TV anchor, DJ on radio, and businessman. He was an all-time Mediacorp artist from 1995 to 2015. In 2015, he quit Mediacorp to focus his efforts on NoonTalk Media which he co-founded in the year 2011.
In 2012, he directed his debut film Timeless Love.
Koh studied at Anglican High School and Temasek Polytechnic. In 2002, Koh was an ambassador of World Vision and sponsored 2 Mongolian children. In an interview with him, the misspelled name was born when it was a popular trend to have an Christian name. He was a student who asked to spell “Desmond”.

Before entering the world of entertainment, Koh had been a DJ full-time for Y.E.S. 93.3FM from 1996. He was among the RCS’s most famous Chinese language DJs. He was named Friday Daily Singapore’s “Most Popular DJ” five consecutive times in addition to being YES 933’s most well-known DJ for three consecutive years in the annual RCS Golden Mike Awards.
In 2000, Koh was hired by MediaCorp and was still working DJ duties. He later resigned in order to be a part of MediaCorp full-time a few years after. While he was relatively new to the world of television Koh was awarded the most popular newcomer during the Star Awards 2000 after starring in the sitcom Soho @ Work. The show has featured him on a range of shows that range from travelogues to variety shows as well as some significant “live” events such as the Chingay Parade, Star Awards and SuperBand. Since he switched to TV, he has also been successful as host. He was named one of as one of the “Top 10 Most Popular Male Artistes” for the tenth time in the Star Awards 2019 and has been nominated for Best Variety Show Host and Best Info-Ed Host many times.
In 2015, Koh left the entertainment industry and announced that he would not renew his Mediacorp contract due to him setting up a business entity. He co- founded an anti-aging skincare and beauty products company known as FrozenAge. Currently, he is the co-host of The Sheng Siong Show, together with Kym Ng and Denise Camillia Tan.
