Danny Shouse is one of the most popular and richest Basketball Player who was born on October 23, 1958 in Terre Haute, United States. Daniel “Danny” Shouse (born on 23rd October 1958) is an American professional basketball player . He took home two Icelandic championships with the Urvalsdeild club Njardvik in the year 1981 and 1982.
Shouse became a part of his team in the Armann group of Icelandic second-tier Division I in 1979. He was first a participant in the Reykjavik basketball tournament, during which Shouse scored between 64 and 70 points in his two first games.
Shouse was a player-coach for Njarðvík during the 1980-1981 season, leading them to a 17-3 record and the national championship. He coached Njarðvík’s women’s team during the 1981-1982 Úrvalsdeild kvenna season.
After the season, Shouse signed with Úrvalsdeild club Njarðvík and helped them win two Icelandic championships, in 1981 and 1982. He led the Úrvalsdeild in scoring both years and was named the 1981 Úrvalsdeild Foreign Player of the Year.
On December 1st, 1979 Shouse recorded 100 points in the game of Armann in an division I contest against Skallagrimur which set the Icelandic single-game scoring record. In January of 1980, Shouse scored 76 in a overtime loss to Grindavik and then in February, Shouse broke through the 70 point barrier once more, with 72 points in a game against Thor Akureyri. In 10 games Armann scored 648 points, which is the average 64.8 scores per game. His scoring skills was instrumental in helping Armann to win Division I and gain promotion into the Urvalsdeild. Although Shouse played in the national Tier 2 league in his debut campaign, he considered to be one of the top footballers in this country. He also was voted third for the Foreign Best Player.
