Muno Hit .355 and had 23 doubles with 45 runs in the scoring, 43 walks (to just 39 strikes) and 9 stolen bases over the 59 games played by the Brooklyn Cyclones in his first professional season in 2011. Muno led his team in the New York-Penn League in batting average, on-base percentage , and OPS. Baseball America named him the 18th best prospect in the New York-Penn League. He was also the 30th best prospects within the Mets system, and one of the players with most strike zone discipline within the Mets organization after the season. With the St. Lucie Mets in 2012 Muno hit .280 with 19 stolen bases in 22 tries, 50 walks and 6 home runs in 81 games. He was suspended 50 games for testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs. Baseball America again said he had the best strike zone discipline in the Mets system. He hit .249 with 86 runs, 27 doubles, 15 stolen bases in 26 tries and 92 walks for the Binghamton Mets in 2013. He began 2014 with the Las Vegas 51s.
He made his major-league debut on April 17, 2015 as a pinch-hitter, recording a single off Marlins’ reliever Sam Dyson for his first MLB hit. He then stole second base, his first stolen base in the majors. Muno was outrighted off the Mets roster on August 31, 2015. He began 2016 with the Las Vegas 51s before being released on June 28.
In his junior season, he scored .329 with 68 RBI in three games. He was the all-time Fresno State walk leader, with 167. He was chosen with the Chicago Cubs in the 26th round of the 2010 Major League Baseball draft, but he didn’t sign a contract, choosing to remain at the school to finish its senior year. He batted .348 and scored 47 hits 52 RBI and 46 walks over 56 games in his senior season.

Before he played professionally the team he played for was Loyola High School and then California State University, Fresno. As a freshman at Fresno State, he hit .332 with 62 runs over seven games. He was awarded the Freshman of the Year. He also played a key role in leading Fresno State to victory in the 2008 College World Series. He hit .379 in doubles with 25 and scored 74 RBIs in the 62 games he played as a sophomore. His name was included in the All-Western Athletic Conference at second base.
