Daniel de Burgh Kinahan (born 14 April 1958) is a British politician of the Ulster Unionist Party, a former Member of Parliament for South Antrim and former member of the Northern Ireland Assembly for South Antrim. In 2005, he was elected to the South Antrim Borough Council, and in June 2009, he was named to his South Antrim seat in the Assembly which was vacated following the departure of David Burnside.
His parents are Sir Robin Kinahan and Coralie de Burgh. He was educated at Craigflower Preparatory School (Torryburn), Stowe School and the University of Edinburgh. Kinahan is a relative of the singer Chris de Burgh. Kinahan is a professional antiques expert, and was Christie’s auctioneers Irish representative. His wife lives alongside him and their four kids living in Castle Upton, Templepatrick. In 2016, he announced that he would be selling his house to be decluttered after the removal of his children.

On May 28, 2009, UUP South Antrim branch elected Danny on May 28, 2009. UUP South Antrim branch selected Danny to succeed former MLA David Burnside who resigned to pursue business interests. Mr. Burnside was officially removed on June 1, 2009. Danny was inaugurated on the 9th of June.
