Daniel Salaverry is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on August 7, 1972 in Trujillo, La Libertad Region, Peru. Born in the city of Trujillo, the northern part in Trujillo from 1972 to 1972. In 1972, he admitted to Trujillo’s Claretiano School for his elementary and high school education. He completed his studies in Architectural studies at Antenor Orrego Private University, receiving a Bachelor’s degree.
Salaverry unsuccessfully ran for the office of Mayor in Trujillo Province of Trujillo twice. The first time was in 2010, when he ran as a member of his party, the Peruvian Aprista Party, and the second time, he ran with Popular Force.
In 2016, he was elected to Congress representing La Libertad Region. He has held the position of Spokesperson of the Popular Force Parliamentary Group. He was ultimately elected as President of Congress for the annual term 2018-2019. In January 2019, he quit Popular Force for discrepancies with his bench colleagues.
In July 2019, Salaverry joined the United for the Republic parliamentary group in order to be eligible to run for reelection as President of Congress. He was ultimately defeated by conservative leader Pedro Olaechea, supported by the entire Popular Force party.
In 2006 the year he was elected to the Trujillo Provincial Council. In 2010 he ran for the office of Mayor of Trujillo but lost only by a tiny amount against Alliance for Progress leader Cesar Acuna Peralta. He was then the Mayor seeking his reelection.

Daniel Enrique Salaverry Villa (born 7 August 1972) is a Peruvian architect, businessman, and politician. Since 2016 he has been serving in Congress as a representative of La Libertad Region. He was elected as a member of the Fujimorist Popular Force, he was the party’s spokesperson for one year, as well as the president of the Congress from the year 2018 until the year the year 2019.
Salaverry was a part of the Peruvian Aprista Party from 2002 to 2014.
In 2014, he founded the “Democracy, Security and Values” Movement. Later that year, he allied with the Popular Force party in order to run for Mayor once again, this time losing against Elidio Espinoza Quispe, a former Police Colonel.
