Daniel de los Reyes is one of the most popular and richest Drummer who was born on July 18, 1962 in New York, United States. Percussionist with the country music group Zac Brown Band who began his time in the group as a tour musician prior to becoming an official band member in April of 2012.
Apart from Zac Brown Band He has also been in concert with groups and artists such as Away from Zac Brown Band, he has performed with artists and groups including Jennifer Lopez, Sting and Earth, Wind and Fire., Sting and Earth, Wind and Fire.
Reyes first gig as a drummer was for actor and singer Ben Vereen. He eventually played upon Steve Winwood’s 1997 album Junction Seven and Yanni’s live recording of the same year being Tribute. Reyes went on to perform with Ricky Martin at the 1999 and 2000 Grammy Awards. Thereafter he played upon Philip Bailey’s 2002 LP Soul on Jazz and Earth, Wind & Fire’s 2003 album The Promise. As well he performed on the 2004 Earth, Wind & Fire tribute album Devoted Spirits: A Tribute to Earth Wind and Fire.
During that same year he played upon the Jimi Hendrix tribute album Power of Soul. Reyes also played at a 2004 benefit show in honour of late Billboard magazine editor Timothy White. During the concert he performed alongside Don Henley, Sting, Billy Joel, Jimmy Buffett, Roger Waters, Sheryl Crow, James Taylor, Brian Wilson and Jennifer Lopez. Reyes also featured as a drummer on Peter Frampton’s 2006 LP Fingerprints and The Killers 2008 album Day & Age. He later played upon Brandon Flowers 2010 debut album Flamingo.
His grandfather Walfredo de los Reyes II co-founded the Cuban orchestra Casino de la Playa, while his father Walfredo de los Reyes III became a renowned drummer/percussionist. There are two brothers named Walfredo Reyes Jr. and Kamar de los Reyes.
