Daniel Maurice Wagner (born 28 July 1963) is a British Internet businessman. He founded MAID which was among the first internet-based information platforms in the year 1984. He later became the CEO and founder of Venda, ATTRAQT, Powa Technologies and, most lately, Rezolve.

When Wagner left the agency that he worked for and started the company that provides online information MAID (Market Analysis Information Database) in 1984. MAID grew rapidly and was able to capture an average market share of 26 percent. In the words of The Observer he was “one of the first people to realise the benefits of packaging electronic information and data for scientists, librarians and other specialists.” The company was listed on the stock exchange in 1994. It was later renamed to Dialog. It also was included in NASDAQ from 1995. Wagner gained notoriety for becoming the CEO of a publicly traded firm in the early 20s, and for overseeing the company’s decline in share price during the dot-com collapse in 2000. The company was later referred to by the city as well as a variety of newspapers as “Dial-a-dog”.

In April 2001, Wagner founded Venda as one of the first cloud based, enterprise class commerce platforms using the technology assets from Boo.com as the foundation for the offering . He bought the Boo.com assets for just £250,000 after they had invested over £70 million in the platform and operations .
