Damone Lamar Brown (born June 28th 1979) is a American professional player of basketball previously playing for the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is 6-foot-9″ and 212 lbs forward. After playing basketball for the NCAA tournament in the NCAA tournament at Syracuse University, he was chosen for the Philadelphia 76ers in the second round of the 2001 NBA draft. Through his NBA career, he’s been a part of the 76ers as well as the Toronto Raptors, the New Jersey Nets and the Washington Wizards while averaging 2.8 points and 1.3 Rebounds for each match. He played in seven games for the Indiana Pacers in the 2005-06 preseason.

In the year 2015, Brown was hired an assistant coach at Villa Maria College in Buffalo, New York. After three seasons at the Vikings, Brown was hired as the head coach of Bryant & Stratton College of Buffalo to run the school’s first year of the program. Brown managed his Bobcats to a record of 17-12 during their first year as well as a trip the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) National Final Four. The previous year, Brown once again led the Bobcats to to the national championship and finished the season 19-11 , after the tournament was cut short due because of the COVID-19 virus.
