Atlanta will not be releasing Dantas’s rights, and she is expected to join Atlanta in the 2017 season.

Dantas has been signed by the Lynx on April 2nd in 2014. Dantas began her WNBA debut on May 16, 2014, grabbing 12 rebounds during the win over Washington. Dantas was the second rookie to make her league make an appearance with 10 rebounds as well as five assists. Due to Rebekkah Brunson in the hospital by tendinitis, Dantas was named the starter and was soon leading in the WNBA rookies in rebounding.

Along with her junior Brazilian squad, Dantas took home Bronze at the World Under-19 Championship in 2011 Chile and was awarded the title of the Most Valuable player at the event.
