Dale Allison Graham (born October 6 1951) was an ex-politician from New Brunswick, Canada. He was an MLA between 1993 until 2014, was speaker of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick between 2010 and 2014, and was an official in the cabinet of the provincial government from 1999 until the year 2006.

His party did not win the majority of seats at the 2006 elections, so Graham quit cabinet and went back to the opposition. In 2010, he was reelected and his party re-emerged in the government. He was elected the dean of the legislature. He was omitted from the cabinet, however he was elected as the speaker of the legislature. He didn’t run for re-election in 2014.

As of 1999, Graham’s political party was elected to government. Graham was co- chair of the campaign for the election and was appointed the deputy minister of the premiership and also Minister for Supply and Services. The 21st of July, 2005 Graham was appointed the Minister for Environment & Local Government on an interim basis, after his cabinet counterpart Brenda Fowlie was forced to quit the cabinet. Graham remained in the post until November 21st the 21st of November, 2005.

In Woodstock, New Brunswick, the son of Robert Graham and Letha Delong, Graham attended school in Centreville. He was a small business owner, and was also involved in local political affairs at the school board at the school board level. He was married Shelley McDougall in 1972. In the provincial election of 1991, Graham was defeated by Liberal incumbent Fred Harvey, however Harvey’s victory was later declared null and void following the fact that Harvey was found guilty of violating the law on election spending. Graham won a by- election that took place in 1993 and won victory in the Carleton North seat. Graham was later elected to the new district for electoral purposes that is Carleton at the time of the 1995 1999, 2000, 2003 the 2006 and the elections of 2010.

Graham’s victory in 1993 was a major challenge for the Progressive Conservative Party of New Brunswick. The party was defeated in the provincial election in 1987. It went to be in the position of leading in the legislature for 17 years before being exiled from the legislature. Although the party was able to regain three seats in the 58-seat legislative body in the year 1991, nascent Confederation of Regions Party of New Brunswick (CoR) had won eight seats and declared the official opposition. Graham’s victory was viewed as a confirmation that CoR could not be a complete replacement for it’s fellow Progressive Conservatives as the voice of conservatism in Anglophone New Brunswick.

In a cabinet shuffle on February 14, 2006, Graham was shuffled to the post of minister responsible for the Office of Human Resources and for Service New Brunswick. He retained his honorary post of deputy premier.
