Curtis Warren Pitt (born 1 February 1977) is an Australian politician who has been an Labor Party member of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland since 2009, and has been representing that district, Mulgrave. On February 14, 2015, Pitt was inaugurated as treasurer of Queensland.

In his cabinet time He was responsible for the introduction of the Learning Earning Active Places (LEAP) strategy that aims to bridge the gap between the 80 percent of Queenslanders living in the urban and regional regions that are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders. In 2011, he released “Just Futures,” which is the Queensland government’s Aboriginal as well as Torres Strait Islander justice strategy to lessen the number of Indigenous people in the criminal justice system. In the course of NAIDOC the year 2011, Mr. Smith also launched the ‘Deadly Story’ campaign.

As the first Queensland Minister of Mental Health, he jointly with his colleagues to launch the anti-stigma campaign “Change Our Minds’. It was shortly after which came the announcement of a new community-based mental health services strategy “Supporting Recovery 2011-2017”. He also supervised the creation of the initial Mental Health Commission for Queensland and another significant mental health reform that was later adopted in part through the Newman LNP Government.
