Cristo Reyes is one of the most popular and richest Darts Player who was born on July 30, 1987 in Tenerife, Spain. Cristo Reyes Torres (born 30 July 1987) is a Spanish darts player that plays at Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events.

The month of October was 2014 when Reyes defeated 154 athletes to take home the Iberian qualifying tournament to qualify for 2015 PDC World Championship, sealing his spot in the draw by beating Jose Rodriguez 6-0 in the final. Reyes was in the initial round, and was able to comfortably defeated Christian Perez 4-0. Reyes won the opening two games to beat Wes Newton, before the world number 13 came back to draw the match. The two players broke each one’s throw during the final set, which led to the game turning into the sudden death phase. Reyes’s dart was the first to hit the bull’s outside as in the sudden death set, each player throws a dart at the bull in order to determine who will throw first. But, the official did not realize that this was happening and Reyes was forced to continue throwing until the officials stepped in to restart the match after the players had both dropped six darts. Reyes struck the outside bull first, and then won the game with a double 16, which he hit at the very first time of asking for the surprise. Newton called the refereeing as a joke, but praised Reyes for being more calm in the same circumstance.

Reyes created history in the following round when Reyes made history as the only Spanish player to advance through to the 3rd round in the PDC World Championship. He came through a 3-1 deficit to Kevin Painter to beat him 4-3, and then win the set with no response. Reyes averaged 115 points in winning in the third set of his game against Gary Anderson, before Anderson returned with four sets to win Reyes his tournament. Reyes was unable to hit three darts, which extended the match to the sixth set, Anderson’s final score of 104.54 is the second-highest for the event. The former World number 1 Rod Harrington suggested Reyes’ performances at the tournament would lead to the rise from a greater number of Iberian darts-playing players in the near future.
