Part of the IIHF Ambassador and Mentor Program, Bredin was a Hockey Canada athlete ambassador who traveled from Bratislava, Slovakia to participate in the 2011 IIHF High Performance Women’s Camp between July 4 and 12.
From 2008 until the year 2010, she played for between 2008 and 2010, playing with Moscow Tornado in the Russian Professional League. Bredin won both the 2009 Russian League Championship and 2010 European Champions Cup.

Bredin was a regular participant for several years during her time in Bredin’s Western Women’s Hockey League. Her first team she played alongside was that of the Edmonton Chimos from 1996 to 1998. She was a part of the Chimos team that won their first Canadian National women’s ice hockey championship. She helped with the Calgary Oval X-Treme claim several championships including the 2004 NWHL as well as the 2005 and 2007 WWHL and the 2007. Canadian National Championships.
