On the 15th of October in 2019, Cory spent time with the students of Brown University as part of the Brown Arts Initiative. In an ongoing songwriting class, Cory shared his experience/history through jazz music, and then concluded by critiquing the songs written by many students who were in attendance.

On April 13 in the 13th of April, Cory came out with his track “Trade It All” with his group The Funk Apostles. Three months after, on July 13 in the 13th of July, Cory came out with “Art of Love” the first album together with The Funk Apostles.
